Geoff Wilson – Managing Director and Head of Property Development Finance
Geoff has over 35 years business experience working at a senior level in the Telecommunications, IT and General Business environment. Prior to founding the Business in 2004 he was European Managing Director for US Technology group iPass Inc. and previously held Senior Management roles with Global One, BT , GEC and Plessey.
As well as running the Brokerplan business Geoff is a Board member of the National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers ( NACFB ) and represents the Association at industry events throughout the UK.
Starting his Property Investment activities in the mid 90’s Geoff has successfully completed a number of high value residential Property Development projects and brings significant knowledge to the underwriting of such projects. Interests away from work include photography, natural history, enjoying the Yorkshire countryside and sports – particularly golf ,skiing and watching football.
John Kent – Director of Business Development
John spent 20 years in the corporate world working mainly as a Sales Director in UK manufacturing. Throughout his working life John has continued to invest in his own personal development and completed his MBA at Greenwich University in 1997.
John set up his own business in 2011 acting as an intermediary introducing a wide range of alternative financial products and services including offshore pensions, tax planning, tax relief and all forms of commercial finance.
Having launched and hosted the Property Investors Network event at Hazlewood Castle in York in January 2012, John is very active in the local independent property market. An avid networker, both face to face and via social media John recognises the benefit of making connections and building long standing relationships.
John loves to spend time with his family, has an active social life, an interest in most sport and when he manages to sneak out quietly, enjoys a game of golf with friends.
David Fine – Operations Director and Senior Case Underwriter
David graduated from University of Manchester with a Bsc Hons degree in Management in 1993. Combining work, and travel with a desire to be immersed and learn from other cultures David has lived and managed businesses in Hong Kong and Europe, speaking fluent Spanish, basic Japanese, French and Hebrew.
David previously worked in a Commercial Role for HSBC as well as a number of private finance businesses both in the UK and overseas.
Davids lifelong interest revolves around art, both collecting and painting.
Peter Robinson – Senior Partner and Head of Factoring , Trade Finance and Asset Finance
Peter holds the distinction of a career spanning 38 years with Midland Bank / HSBC ultimately working for the Bank as a Senior Manager with responsibility for a high quality portfolio of Factoring and Invoice Discounting clients. Peter brings a vast wealth of business experience to the Brokerplan business initiative and is particularly aware of the very diverse nature of the various Factoring and Asset Finance Companies working in the UK market. Many of whom have individual strengths and niches and Peter is therefore in a very strong position to find the very best deal for our Clients and Partners.
Away from the business Peter enjoys sports and the great outdoors including golf, road running and long distance fell walking.
Stewart Woodward – Senior Partner and Head of Commercial Real Estate Finance
With 30 + years experience as a Facilities Director in the brewing industry there’s not much that Stuart doesn’t know about Commercial Real Estate. Joining the White Rose Group from Bass the Brewers, subsequently Coors Group where his responsibilities covered the management of 33 office locations and 2 main regional head offices.
Stuart handles the Commercial and Business Mortgage applications for Brokerplan Network Partners and their clients offering a wealth of practical business knowledge to anyone running or aspiring to own a business. Handling the company’s relationship with over 40 mainstream and specialist Commercial Property and Trading Business lenders he prides himself on driving the very best bargain possible for his clients.
Away from the office Stuart has a passion for fine wines and good food and enjoys a weekend game of golf when time allows.
